Lee Jofa is pleased to announce the launch of Lilly Pulitzer for Lee Jofa, a licensed collection of home interior fabrics and trimmings featuring the immediately recognizable prints and patterns that Lilly Lovers have adored for decades.
Dressing in head to toe Lilly has been a thrill for generations of Lilly Lovers, who can now “dress” their homes from ceiling to floor in bright, beautiful prints and patterns. Just as in the fashion line, the word “Lilly” has been incorporated into the design of each pattern, which is the hallmark of an authentic Lilly Pulitzer fabric.
Devotees of the Lilly Pulitzer brand will recognize in the home fabrics collection many of the brand’s iconic prints in signature pink and green, with floral and beach motifs, embroideries and jacquards, fresh stripes, and bold solids to coordinate.
Many signature florals are represented in this collection, including Heritage Floral, a timeless symbol of Palm Beach and the cornerstone of the collection. I Dahlia, a soft painterly floral, is printed on a cotton linen blend. Racy Lacey, inspired by Queen Anne’s Lace, features tiny flowers used to make up the larger petals in the design.
Color Me Coral is an ode to the beach with a bold coral motif. It coordinates perfectly with Bimini. Offered in three color combinations including the signature pink and green, Bimini is printed with beautiful floating sea anemones mixed with corals. Shell We is a geometric shell print inspired by a “sailor’s valentine” found in Palm Beach.
Tail Lights, featuring a dragon motif, is named for the dragons swinging Chinese lanterns from their tails. Well Connected, a trellis inspired design, first appeared on a chair in Lilly’s own home.
Embroidery has long been a marker of an authentic “Lilly,” and this collection offers up several classics. Lilly Lace, an embroidery on lightweight linen, is available in bright, bold color combinations. In A Twist uses beautiful, rope-like tassels to create a geometric design as only Lilly can do. Sea Fan features a coral motif embroidered on light-weight linen.
Happy Plaid, a cheerful plaid, and Stripe It Up, a classic stripe, both offer the perfect complement to the prints and neutrals in the collection. Leaf Me Be, featuring a leaf motif, and Hide and Seek are solid coordinates in sophisticated jacquard.
The collection also features a series of six white upholstery weight fabrics and a lightweight raw silk available in 15 spectacular colors, all of which are great for accenting with Lilly’s unique patterns and bright palettes.
It all started with a juice stand more than 50 years ago. Lilly Pulitzer, a young, sassy socialite, opened a juice stand in Palm Beach and quickly realized she needed a uniform that would hide the orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit stains that were making a mess of her clothes. Lilly had her dressmaker whip up a brightly patterned shift dress to camouflage the stains. While her customers liked her juice, they loved her dresses and they quickly began outselling the juice. As the dresses sold the line expanded, Lilly Pulitzer became a brand, and eventually a lifestyle, with her signature prints and patterns representing the carefree spirit of the affluent at play.
This collection has been translated from fashion to home, and the fabrics are perfectly suited for upholstery, curtains, bedding, pillows, accessories and more. These fabrics will add a Lilly-infused dose of sunshine and happiness to any interior space.
